The curriculum was developed at the University of Virginia, School of Education and Human Development, Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL) by Amanda Williford, Ph.D, Kate Matthew, M.S., and Bridget Hamre, Ph.D. in partnership with The New E3 School and in collaboration with E3 leadership, teaching, and coaching staff.

The model was brought to life by a highly-collaborative and inspired team dedicated to supporting learning and fun for every child, teacher, and leader.
