Professional Development

Our curriculum model is paired with a data-driven professional development approach that builds a teacher’s toolbox.

Ongoing Implementation Support

Too often, a curriculum ends up sitting on a shelf collecting dust or is used in pieces. STREAMin³ is more than just a box of materials — it’s a comprehensive model that includes the ongoing professional development (PD) educators need to make the curriculum come alive in their classroom.

How Does It Work?

STREAMin³ provides ongoing training and professional development webinars to increase educators’ understanding of the curriculum and improve their interactions and experiences with children.

All classrooms have access to an Implementation Specialist for support. Eligible classrooms partner with coaches, receiving individualized, one-on-one support to analyze how to build on personal strengths to improve their interactions and implementation.

Comprehensive Onboarding

Each program implementing STREAMin³ is encouraged to take a comprehensive onboarding training to build the foundations for successful implementation.

Monthly Ongoing PD Opportunities

Monthly webinars and Live Online and In Person trainings will keep the learning going all year long for educators and leaders.

Canvas On Demand Trainings

This online asynchronous course offers a deeper understanding of the curriculum. Coaches and Implementation Specialists pair added support to help educators make the most out of this online learning component.

Coaching

Classrooms eligible to receive one-on-one, direct coaching meet with coaches for individualized support and to collaborate on goals and action steps.

Make it Your Own

Our curriculum is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Through ongoing coaching and implementation support, educators are encouraged and empowered to modify STREAMin³ activities and routines to meet the needs of their children and classrooms — all while staying true to the Core Skill objectives and Intentional Teaching Practices. Ongoing professional development opportunities help educators develop a deep understanding of the curriculum so they can successfully adapt it to best serve the children in their care.

What Data-Driven Means

At STREAMin³, we know professional development is best when it’s tailored to the needs of each child, teacher, and program. And we do that by using data. STREAMin³ supports educators to use data (classroom observations, child assessments, and family feedback) to understand their needs and to shape professional development experiences.
